To celebrate his birthday, Shane and I both took the day off of work and we took the boys down to Redding to go to Turtle Bay. This is what we did last year too - so, who knows, maybe we have a new tradition! Hayden got to see porcupines, turtles, birds, butterflies and fish, he got to play in the gravel and sand, and he got to run around the adventure playground. Elliot slept through some of the day; but, when he was awake, he was very quiet and just enjoyed watching the world go by.
After Turtle Bay, we went out for lunch before coming home. The boys and I fell asleep in the car on the way home and then all three boys took a proper nap when we got home. It was a lovely day...one I enjoyed with all my boys! Below are some of the pictures from the day.

Happy Birthday Hayden! As they say, time does fly. I had to write because in the fifth picture where Hayden is standing next to the aquarium, he looks exactly like Shane. More than I have ever seen before, it's uncanny!!! The boys also love the inset at the aquarium, it never fails that they crawl in there and explore. Pretty soon Elliot won't just be sitting there looking cute, he will be running right alongside Hayden. The boys are on the mend, we are looking forward to seeing you soon!
